There are four categories of association with the Ortner Center:
Penn Faculty Fellows
Are members of the Standing or Associated Faculty of the University of Pennsylvania.
Conduct a significant portion of their academic work (more than 100 hours annually) in the area of violence against women and/or family violence.
Serve as leaders in the prevention of violence against women and proactively arrange activities that advance the field in some way.
University of Pennsylvania staff or members of organizations working specifically to prevent and reduce the impact of violence against women and family violence.
Are directly involved in work (research and/or practice) to reduce violence against women and/or family violence.
Participate in Center-associated activities at least 100 hours a year (can include one's own professional work).
Standing or associated faculty at a university or college other than the University of Pennsylvania.
Considered a leader in the field of violence against women/family violence.
Committed to collaborating with the Evelyn Jacobs Ortner Center in a meaningful way.
Current student (Ph.D., Master, or Undergraduate) at the University of Pennsylvania.
Committed to taking classes or conducting research in the area of violence against women or family violence prevention.
Willing to help organize and attend Ortner Center events or other events relevant to the mission of the Ortner Center.
